Forest plot generator

Enter study effects and standard errors to create a forest plot with individual and fixed-effect pooled estimates. Your data stays in this browser.

How the plot is calculated

Each study is shown with its effect estimate and normal-approximation 95% confidence interval (effect ± 1.96 × standard error). The pooled estimate uses inverse-variance fixed-effect weights. For odds ratios and risk ratios, enter log-scale effects and standard errors; the display is exponentiated to the ratio scale.

This lightweight generator is intended for exploration and figure drafts. The EvidenceFlow analysis service adds study-level provenance, subgroup analysis, and publication exports for a complete review.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What format should I enter for odds ratios?+

Enter log odds ratios or log risk ratios and their standard errors. Select OR or RR to display the estimates and confidence limits on the ratio scale.

How is the pooled estimate calculated?+

The tool calculates an inverse-variance fixed-effect estimate. It does not estimate between-study variance or provide a random-effects model.

Does my data leave my browser?+

No. The plot and calculations run locally in your browser.
